Internalize the wisdom in this break-through course
and never struggle with your weight ever again

Eat less and exercise more. For over a century, that's been the dominant prescription for weight loss. And, this advice continues today despite its well-documented failure rate of more than 95%.

Over this same time period, several insightful medical practitioners and eating specialists extensively researched a completely different approach to weight management – an approach delivering far greater success due to its precise alignment with the true nature of human physiology. Disappointingly, their amazing results have been overshadowed by the vast propaganda of the profit-driven weight-loss, food, and exercise industries.

Now, for the first time, the work of these maverick obesity experts has been comprehensively captured in an easy-to-read and simple-to-understand home-study course that:

  • Discredits the prevalent myths, misinformation, and misdirection about weight loss.

  • Explains the fundamental and unchanging truths about the physiology of weight management.

  • Describes the researchers' successful approach and the uncomplicated steps for its implementation.

Get ready to abandon what you thought was
true about weight loss, eating well, and exercise

Here's just a small sampling of what you'll learn:

  • Why most explanations for overweight and obesity are pure nonsense and how these reasons actually create barriers to weight loss. By the time you finish reading pages 115-121 you'll definitely be angry at the media for misleading you.
  • The real cause for the rising incidence of overweight and obesity over the last 30 years (pages 123-132).
  • The $60 billion gimmick that's the basis for almost all weight-loss diets (pages 143-144) and the fallacy of the widely-held assumption that 3500 calories equals a pound (pages 76-77).
  • The surprising reality - based on extensive scientific research - that people's weight is NOT influenced by what people eat (pages 284-288) or how much they exercise (pages 336-341).
  • The three biggest misconceptions about "ideal" weight - which needlessly cause worry and guilt (pages 61-67) - and the one best method to determine the weight at which you will be healthy and fit (pages 74-77).
  • The one best method to determine the weight at which you'll be healthy and fit.
  • Six reasons why you should never go on a diet ever again (pages 136-139).
  • The incredibly simple way to determine how much to eat in order to reach and maintain your perfect weight. Read pages 225-249 to discover how simple this is to do.
  • Why the common advice to consciously eat less and exercise more is totally impractical and futile. Once you read this section on pages 117-121, you'll never count a calorie again.
  • The only five eating rules you need to know. They're simple, easy-to-remember, and non-burdensome, but here's the best part --- most of the time, they can be ignored (pages 303-321).
  • The importance of eating whatever you want and viewing cravings as a positive physiological signal you must satisfy. You'll understand why after reading pages 209-223.
  • The three reasons why exercise doesn't burn fat and the two additional reasons why it doesn't assist with weight loss. This information will invalidate everything you've heard from promoters of exercise videos and contraptions. You'll never trust these advertisers again after reading pages 336-339.
  • How to get 80% of the well-established benefits of increased activity without spending any time exercising (see pages 347-363).
  • The eight problems with weight, nutrition, and fitness research you MUST know to accurately interpret media reports on these topics. After reading pages 53-59 you'll be much better prepared to unravel the confusing and contradictory bombardment of new "breakthrough" solutions you read or hear about almost every day in the media.
  • The three natural signals the body sends to ensure it is fed correctly and how to interpret and act on those signals. This section on pages 187-268 may be the first comprehensive description of HOW to eat you've ever read (this information is the last thing the weight loss industry wants you to know).
  • How advertisers can get us to spend $10 billion on a product available for free - and feel guilty if we don't. I use this as just one simple example of the incredible power of advertisers in the food, weight-loss and exercise industries which you need to protect yourself against (pages 146-149).

Title and author

And, it was written by Allen Oelschlaeger (author's website). He has undergraduate degrees in biology and pharmacy, a masters-level business degree and more than 35 years of experience as a pharmacist, medical-industry executive, and weight-loss researcher. His concern about the confusing, contradictory and inaccurate information available on weight, nutrition, and fitness compelled him to dig deeper into the scientific research, publish a newsletter on these topics, and devote three years to writing this course.

Here is what others are saying about Allen's course:

"The information in this course turned my understanding of how to lose weight upside down and made so much sense I knew it would work. 16 months later I had lost 70 pounds with no food deprivation or struggle --- and I can't imagine ever gaining the weight back now that I have an accurate understanding of how my body works."

-- Sharron Patapoff, 61-year old mother of two

"I read an early draft of Allen's course about two years before it was published that changed my entire thinking about weight management. I've applied what I learned to my own situation with great results and am eager for the published version to be available for my patients."

-- Dr. Westfall, practicing physician and inventor of the CPR Microshield

"As the co-editor of a health journal I'm exposed to almost everything new written on the topics of weight, nutrition, and fitness. I can honestly say that Allen's course is one of the most comprehensive, accurate and eye-opening texts I've seen on these topics in many years. Everyone interested in separating out the facts from the fiction and improving their health should take advantage of this valuable resource."

-- Jon Robison, PhD, MS Nutritionist, Co-Editor of Health At Every Size Journal

What is included

The course consists of a 36-step 448-page manual (access free chapters) as well as free access to an online information resource with downloadable reports and other information. Here is a brief summary of the currently-available reports accessible to purchasers of the course.

  • Self Image Primer Throughout the course I make reference to the importance of having a positive self image. This report provides some valuable pointers on self-image development for individuals who struggle with this issue.
  • Body Acceptance Primer You'll learn in Step #2 that a prerequisite to becoming "healthy and fit" is accepting your body as it is right now. If doing this is an issue for you, my report on body acceptance should provide some help.
  • Emotional Eating Primer You'll learned in Step #17 that much of what is described as "emotional eating" has nothing to do with the existence of some psychological issue. However, that's not always the case. If, after reading this step, you concluded that overeating for emotional reasons is a problem for you, then you should definitely read this report.
  • Public Policy Related to the Increased Incidence of Overweight and Obesity – A Need for Change Public policy related to the worldwide increased incidence of overweight and obesity is primarily focused on increasing physical activity and "healthier" eating. But there's one problem with this policy focus --- it hasn't worked despite decades of effort. This report explains why and offers suggestions for a different public-policy emphasis that's much more aligned with the available scientific evidence.

Price of the course

The price for the complete course which includes the 36-step, 448-page manual and free access to the online Resource Center is just $39.95 (eCourse price = $29.95).

In addition, if you order soon, you'll receive the following bonus:

The 256-page eBook titled The Straight Scoop about Dieting by Sharon Greene Patton ($12.95 value)

This book was originally published in 1983 by Dodd, Mead and Company and, in Allen Oelschlaeger's opinion, is the best book ever written about dieting. This outspoken, compassionate book shares the author's personal experience during 25 years of dieting and the results of her research as to why 95% of dieters gain back any lost weight - often overshooting where they started.

It was during Oelschlager's research for his course that he discovered Ms. Patton's brilliant book. After reading hundreds of books during his three years of research, hers was one of just six he could, with good conscience, suggest anybody read. All the rest were filled with so much misinformation and misdirection he felt reading them would cause more harm than good. Ms. Patton's was one of the exceptions. Her book about dieting was an absolute gem. It was scientifically accurate and well written but, most importantly, it did an exceptional job of sharing the surprising truths about dieting. The most amazing this is that her research findings are just as valid today as they were back in the 1980s.

The Straight Scoop About Dieting was recently republished as a companion volume to Oelschlager's and, for a short period of time, is being made available as an eBook bonus for purchasers of Finally, The Straight Scoop About Weight, Nutrition, and Fitness.
